What an extraordinarily moving film. It has it all...romance mixed with sex and love, music that literally fills the soul, comedy that makes you...makes you...laugh!, a dog that wrings every emotion imaginable from the lines in his very first film and promises us years more of award-winning acting, arms being chopped off amid a violent fight scene that rivals - nay! surpasses! - those in Troy, Vince Vaughan (again! - what does he do? Rent himself out now for cameos?) hot smoldering writhing jealousy...wow, I'm simply worn out remembering the perfection that was "Anchorman".
From the Afternoon Delight quartet (which was...well, quite delightful in the afternoon) to the poignant scene where Baxter the dog confronts the giant crazed bear and speaks to him in his native tongue, with subtitles, (vaguely reminiscent of the last heartbreaking moments of Dances With Wolves) to memorable lines that will go down in film history alongside those from Casablanca ("Jazz flute is for little fairy-boys"), this movie is a must-see for all ages, all genders, and all species.
