When you say topics are we talking forums or threads?  Did you see the hot forums thing and is that what you had in mind?

Don't let me put words in your mouth, Pixie, but I think what she means is when you open up the main page it would be nice if we could easily see ALL new posts and new replies to existing posts at the very top or in one area where you could just click on the unread messages only.  As it is now, we have to scroll down through everything, looking for the “new message” (or whatever that little button says).  How much easier (if possible) if when opening the page, there are all the unread messages together in one spot.

Of course I know absolutely nothing about how this works and in fact can't even figure out how to get an author icon or avatar, so take any suggestions from me with a grain of salt.

This is interesting: when I signed in using Safari, the Hot Forums appeared and I got all excited but it's buggy today so I wasn't able to post a reply. When I re-signed in with IE, no Hot Forums appeared. Anyway, the Hot Forums is great - just what I had in mind. Thanks!

I uploaded a pretty significant code change, last night.   WHen I first when to the pages in my IE - the header was all screwed up..  Once I hit refesh and had the browser looking at the new stuff from the server and not the cached images from my temp internet files, it looked okay.

Does hot forums show up in your IE, now? Better yet - does anything on the left side of that forums start page (the statistics) show up in your IE?  If not.. try clearing your temp internet files and give it another shot and let me know what you see..

Thanks!

Oh, okay - hot topics and stats are on the left side with the IE page. With Safari, they are stacked on the top right on top of the whole forum list. Interesting display difference. It's all good now. (Insert smiley face here)

Safari? If you don't mind me asking.. I've never understood the draw for people to use a web browser that isn't supported and isn't mainstream.
