I have a Finisar 10/100 Copper Network Tap in like new condition for sale, with power supply.  It takes a Ethernet link between 2 points and lets you connect to the transmit side of either direction without interrupting the data. Using this, you can use a tool such as Ethereal to analyze the traffice.
