This is a legal question and hopefully a person with that expertise will answer it.  If a good friend had not told me about EMC and sending the little thing back to tell them NOT to do it, I would have just thrown it away.  I have been told by  several (non-legal beagles) that it is against the law to do it that way.  It is suppose to be, if we want them to keep the change (or whatever they are trying to keep) we have to let them know TO DO it, not if we do nothing, they WILL do it.  I thought the people (all the paying members) were the owners of the Co-Op.  Who voted for this??  And who voted for the television ads that we are paying for????  I did not vote for any of this!!! Any help on this?

Oh, I love those sorts of things...

“You hereby agree to this 10 page agreement because you recieved it...”

They send out memos like that at work all of the time. (Since this landed in your mailbox, you agree to it.)

I think you have a good point, though.  It being a CoOp - it seems like that should be put to a vote.
