The last three movies I've seen in the theater started with a commercial about a stunt coordinator bashing people who download movies and music and saying that by doing so you hurt the guy that makes $8.00/hr and fetches doughnuts for the producers.

First off.. If I paid my $8 to see a movie, don't show me a commercial (or, do show me a commercial and make the movie free - or cheaper).   If you are going to show me a commercial - don't make it one guilting me about downloading music and movies..  If I'm sitting in the theater, I'm probably not the one you should be nagging...................

Just my take on it.  How about you?

Commercials at movies suck!  Just when did that become permissable?  They started sticking in a coke commercial here and there and now we've got to watch new car promos and some kind of weird trippy thing with a cute girl in a tight short skirt walking down a rainbow or something.  How good a commercial is that anyway if I can't even remember what's it advertising?

The only thing I have to say about the commercial you're talking about featuring the stunt man is...he's HOT!  Manny Perry.  The name just sticks with me for some reason.  I don't much listen to what he's talking about...I'm just looking at his shoulders stretching across an eighty-foot screen.

First, let me tell you the last movie I went to see was Apollo 13 with Tom Hanks.  I first thought you had to be kidding about a commercial at the movies.  How many people sit and watch all of the commercials on television?   Not my husband!!!  That remote is flipping through the channels faster than greased lightning  (he is really good with a remote!). So, they know most people are flipping, going to the bathroom, or kitchen.  They are thinking (surprisingly) “ Hmmm, where can we put the commercials where they will HAVE to see them?  I know, THE MOVIES!!!!”  Now they will have to go up on price to pay for the commercials!   A never ending circle.
