Re: Weird Drug
Wonder if Selsun Blue would work on my dog, Tully. He has the worst skin allergies... :) And I've yet to find a doc who can keep them under control.

Re: Weird Drug

It works.  For six or seven years I've had this condition, which my dermatologist says is fungus that everyone has on their skin but a few peoples' systems do not supress its growth.  Each time I take Nizoral in basically the way you described, the blotches have gone away.  My instructions were to take two tablets with Diet Coke on an empty stomach, wait at least 1/2 hour before eating, sweat enough to cover your whole body, let the sweat dry on you, and don't bathe or shower for at least 6 hours.  My dermatologist said to take it every two weeks for about 6 weeks then once every other month.  He said the Diet Coke and empty stomach get the Nizoral into your blood stream quickly.  The sweat contains Nizoral and allows it to cover all of your skin.  Like one of the later posts mentioned, he will only give me a few tablets at a time and no refills.  However, whenever I have taken it, the blotches go away for around a year.
