It is almost that time. Why doesn't the government just do a straight 10% on EVERYBODY. It would be plenty, easier, and do away with a lot of 'shaving'. (OK, all the tax people tell me why that won't work.)

( LOL) Well, did they take you or leave you? We would still have the IRS checking to see if we paid the 10%. I would not mind paying that at all. And it would definitely be easy for me to figure and save a big amount I pay my CPA.

I like the flat tax rate. I don't think it's cool to tax the poor - but taxing people more because they make more, is lame too.
