I'm putting this into Fro's Feed Good area because there is not a section for Health and Diet.

This ia an on-line food/activity diary that you can use to track you intake of calories and the calories that you have burned.  I have just started using it and I can honestly say that I am amazed at how many carb that I eat/drink a day.  It really opened my eyes.

Without futher ado her is the link:  http://http://www.fitday.com/WebFit/Home.asp

Enjoy!

“The page cannot be displayed.”  I'll try again later.

I have just started using it and I can honestly say that I am amazed at how many carb that I eat/drink a day.

And that right there is why I neither read stuff about calories and carbs  nor write it down.  Who wants to know that stuff?  It'll only depress you!

I don't believe in counting calories - and I most especially don't think much of the low-carb diets.  I think in time those particular (stringent) diets will prove to be damaging to long-term health.

I love food and am blessed with a high metabolism...but even so I think now and have always thunk that the best way to stay thin is to eat less food and exercise more.  It's simple, it makes sense, it's easy and it's cheap.  If I get on the scales and my weight is up, I just eat smaller portions and add an extra half-mile or so to my walk every day until it's down.  I'm for SURE not gonna cut out specific foods that I enjoy...life's way too short for that.

Eat, drink and be merry...that's my motto!  Oh, and buy cute clothes and collect lots of pets.

P.S. - Your new avatar is even turning ME on!

Dont get me wrong, I dont believe in cutting out foods.  I just believe the saying, Everything in moderation.  Using that I realized that I was defently not taking in carbs in moderation.  I also think that these cutting out fat/carbs etc in the long run will turn up being bad.  I also know that exercise is the key.  I am using this as just a tool to see where I need to do a little modifacation.

Thanks for the compliment on the avatar.  I found that the other day and fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.
