GulfCommunity.Com is locally owned and operated.   Since the site is maintained by private individuals we keep the operating costs low.   A community website doesn't need a brick-and-mortar location with brushed aluminum and mahogany desks and grand marble entryways with 1,000 gallon fishtanks.  In fact, you could say that the "GulfCommunity.Com Offices" are wherever the handful of site contributors may be when they decide it's time to add to the site.

As low as our operating costs are, there are still costs for web hosting, server maintenance, software and other individually negligible costs that can mount to become potentially overwhelming.    This is where we count on the support of community businesses wishing to help sponsor our little corner of the internet and in turn advertise their own goods and services.
